Now Offering Loan Programs for Niagara District
HOCN is pleased to announce that we are now partnering with the City of Buffalo/ City of Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency to provide housing assistance programs for homeowners located in the Niagara District. These programs help homeowners on a fixed-income tackle maintaining their homes, keeping their families warm and dry.
Programs include an Emergency Assistance Loan Program to address broken sewer lines, leaking roofs, inoperable furnaces, and more. The Weatherization Assistance Program helps homeowners reduce energy bills by insulating their homes. The 50/50 Rehab Loan Program is a great option for new homeowners who have more than one problem to tackle in their homes. Loan funds are provided at no interest. The amount to be repaid will be based on the household income.
HOCN will also be offering the City of Buffalo’s Down Payment Closing Cost Assistance Program. If you’re a homebuyer in the process of purchasing your first home anywhere in the City of Buffalo and would like assistance with down payment and closing costs, HOCN can help provide up to $5,000!
Spaces are limited, so we encourage homeowners to contact our office today to learn more about program eligibility. You can also visit our Homebuyer and Niagara District Homeowner webpages to learn more about available programs.
