Funded by the East Side Building Fund (ESBF), the revitalization of 1495 Jefferson included new plumbing improvements and multiple sink installations.

Repairs Made
- Flat roof replacement with added plumbing for drainage and skylight installed for children.
- Glass block windows replaced for double hung windows throughout facility.
- New Bluetooth speaker system upgrade for music and announcements.
- New flooring and plumbing improvements (new toilets and two sink installs) throughout building.
- Ansul hood system for kitchen.
- Waterproof system and sump pump for prevent flooding in rear of daycare.
Repairs made to 1495 Jefferson included:
A flat roof replacement with added plumbing and a skylight.
Window replacements throughout the entire facility.
A new Ansul hood system was installation.
Heart of the City Neighborhoods is a 501(c)(3) designated nonprofit that exists to create, facilitate, and support opportunities for housing and stabilization in Buffalo’s core communities.
